Compton Rapper YG’s Dropping New Project Anytime Soon

After nearly 2 years, YG announced the follow-up to 2019’s 4Real 4Real. On Feb. 5, the rapper was interviewed by Power 106’s Power Mornings, where he opened up about the upcoming project, “It’s just the growth of me, my headspace, what I’m on in life.” See the interview below.

On his upcoming album, Pray for Me, YG will be telling about his ups and downs over the past couple years. YG feels that it’s the right time to take the culture back to the club with his music. On Friday, he dropped the first single and video for Scared Money featuring Moneybagg Yo and J. Cole off the upcoming project.

The release day for Pray for Me is yet to be announced.
