Fans Accuse Nicki Minaj Of Dissing Megan The Stallion And Latto On “Red Ruby Da Sleeze”

Nicki Minaj‘s latest single, “Red Ruby Da Sleeze,” has stirred up controversy among fans who are accusing the rapper of taking shots at Megan Thee Stallion and Latto. The song, which samples Lumidee‘s 2003 hit “Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh),” has received mixed reviews, but it’s the lyrics that have caused a stir.

One of the lines that has caught fans’ attention is when Nicki raps, “Seven-hundred on ’em horses when we fixin’ to leave (Uh-oh)/But I don’t f*ck with horses since Christopher Reeves.” Some people believe this is a reference to Megan Thee Stallion, who famously loves horses and has referenced them in her music.

Another line that has raised eyebrows is, “Ya f*ckin’ bozo/That .40 cal a make ’em dance like a go-go.” Some fans believe this is a reference to Tory Lanez allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the feet last year.

Fans have taken to social media to express their disappointment and frustration with Nicki Minaj, accusing her of being bitter and jealous of Megan Thee Stallion’s success. One Twitter user wrote, “Nicki Minaj is once again attacking Megan even though Megan hasn’t said a word in months. Bitter Barbie is having one sided beef again because of the success Megan has.”

It’s worth noting that Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion have collaborated in the past, most notably on the hit song “Hot Girl Summer” in 2019. However, there have been rumors of tension between the two rappers, which have only been fueled by these recent lyrics.

Overall, it remains to be seen whether Nicki Minaj intended these lyrics as direct shots at Megan Thee Stallion and Latto, or if fans are reading too much into them. Regardless, it’s clear that fans are not happy with the perceived disrespect towards two fellow female rappers.
