“Leave This Club” showcases a unique blend of old-school and contemporary vibes. How has your parents’ eclectic taste in music influenced the creation of this track?
This has created a multicultural taste in music for me. Also, listening to the soulful vibes my parents played through their music has given me a chill, fresh style.
You’ve mentioned that solitude plays a significant role in your creative process. Can you describe a specific moment or experience during the creation of “Leave This Club” where solitude helped shape the song?
I can recall a time when I was chilling at home and going for a late-night swim alone. While thinking to myself about all the beautiful women I saw at the club, it was hard for me to leave. I hear a fresh beat that I put together and come up with a brilliant club masterpiace just thinking about a good nightclub vibe.
“Leave This Club” paints a vivid picture of a night out. What inspired you to write about this particular scenario, and how does it reflect your personal experiences or fantasies?
I honestly was imagining a good night out. After getting paid for a long day of work, you can reward yourself with a good party night vibe that can help take all your stress away and ease your mind.
The hook of “Leave This Club” is particularly memorable. How did you come up with it, and did you anticipate it would resonate so strongly with your audience?
Absolutely. I think the hook stays well in our minds, and I knew it would relate to the crowd because mostly everyone wants to experience a good time with a bunch of beautiful women.
The lyrics, “They like the way I keep the ice shining on me; they like the way I pimp walk with the Homies,” suggest a lavish lifestyle and confidence. How much of this is a reflection of your own life versus artistic expression?
Well, this represents my huge love for fashion. My favorite thing in the world to do is dress up fresh and steezy. and whenever I dress up, it comes with the best confidence.
You’ve cited artists like Usher and Prince as influences. How do you think their styles have seeped into “Leave This Club”?
Mainly because I am multi-talented, I think Usher’s style is very smooth and fresh, and it seeped into my leaving this club. With Prince, you can hear my deep vocals and my high-pitched vocals as well. Also, I wanted to be different from most, and I don’t use autotune; that’s all me singing!!
Balancing an academic career with music is no small feat. How have your studies in geography and accounting influenced your approach to music and the industry?
I think mainly accounting helps me count the bags that I collect from making music for my amazing fans, and geography gives me a wide variety of different cultures of people all over the world. This helps create my unique music blend that will hook all ears!!!
Given the success of “Wanna Party” and now “Leave This Club,” how do you see your music evolving in your future projects?
No way but up!!!! I enjoy what I do, and I enjoy giving my fans the best product. So stay tuned for more to come.

I think out of all the beautiful women coming to the club, it makes you feel good and gives you confidence, like a brand new smile. It stands out because it has a positive vibe. I want fans to take away all the positivity.

It brings more soulful vibes to my music, and there is plenty more to look forward to.
