The rapper from the Bronx, New York, triumphed over tough competition that included Coi Leray, country artist Jelly Roll, BTS’ Jung Kook, singer Noah Kahan, Mexican singer Peso Pluma, English singer PinkPantheress, and singer Stephen Sanchez.
In her acceptance speech, Ice Spice expressed the significance of the award, stating, “This award means so much to me because it’s fan-voted, and I love my fans.” Adding to her growing list of accolades, Ice Spice also secured the Collaboration of the Year award for her duet with Nicki Minaj on “Barbie World.”
Ice Spice’s recognition in the industry has been steadily increasing. In the previous year, she secured the Best New Artist title at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards and earned four nominations at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
