Nicki Minaj is gearing up for the debut of her much-anticipated world tour in support of Pink Friday 2, set to kick off tonight in Oakland (March 1). The Barbz community is showing their support online as the rapper prepares to hit over 50 stops across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, concluding the tour in July with performances in cities like Denver, Vegas, Phoenix, and LA.
Fans have gone the extra mile to back Nicki, propelling “Pink Friday Girls” to the top of the iTunes charts, marking her 44th song to achieve this feat. This accomplishment surpasses her own record, solidifying Nicki’s standing as the rapper with the most No. 1 songs in iTunes history.

Coincidentally, the track’s ascent coincides with the release of a new freestyle by one of Nicki’s rivals, Cardi B. Titled “Like What,” the release is accompanied by an entertaining video directed by Offset. This isn’t the first time fans of both artists have strategically used music to make a statement. When Nicki dropped Pink Friday 2 in December, Cardi B’s 2018 debut album Invasion of Privacy saw a resurgence on the charts, positioning itself just below Nicki’s project.
Whether this strategic chart movement was orchestrated by the Barbz or a mere coincidence during Nicki’s tour launch remains unclear.
