Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign Cancel ‘Vultures’ Album Listening Parties

Kanye West, now known as Ye, and Ty Dolla $ign have decided to cancel the planned listening parties for their ‘Vultures’ album. The duo, who recently released the first installment of their ‘Vultures’ trilogy in February, had intended to provide fans with an opportunity to preview their second record at a series of ‘Vultures 1 & 2 Listening Experiences’ across arenas in North America later this month.

However, just days after the announcement, it appears that the events will not proceed as initially planned. According to a report from Variety, the project has been called off, leading to the cancellation of scheduled gigs in Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Charlotte, and Washington, D.C.

While a representative for Ye confirmed the cancellations, the rapper himself has yet to issue a statement. Some of the shows were canceled before tickets went on sale, while others had already commenced ticketing.

Currently, the Ticketmaster page for Ye does not list any of the canceled concerts, and the Florida arenas have shared updates regarding the canceled events, citing time constraints as the reason behind the change of plans. “We regret to report that due to the time constraints for Ye and Ty Dolla $ign to curate production and meet logistic requirements, the upcoming dates for the VULTURES 1&2 listening experience will need to be revisited at a later date,” they announced. Similarly, a representative for the Charlotte venue confirmed the cancellation to Clture.

These cancellations follow the duo’s headline slot at the Rolling Loud Festival in California last month, which took fans by surprise as it was structured as a listening event rather than a live performance.
