Just three months after releasing their first project, It’s Us Vol. 1, Lil Yachty’s group, The Concrete Boys, is undergoing some changes. Amidst growing rumors on social media, Yachty has confirmed that KARRAHBOOO is no longer part of the rap collective.
The news of KARRAHBOOO’s departure followed her noticeable absence from the group’s recent performance at the Broccoli City Festival in Washington D.C. Before the event, she had posted on her Instagram story that she would not be attending. This wasn’t the first event she missed, as she had begun to distance herself from the group’s live shows in recent weeks.
Fans also noticed that KARRAHBOOO had unfollowed her bandmates—Yachty, DC2Trill, Camo!, and Draft Day—on Instagram. Similarly, the official Concrete Boys account unfollowed her and removed her name from their profile bio.
Yachty addressed the situation during a live stream, stating, “I’m only going to say this once. We’ve parted ways with Karrah regarding the Concrete stuff. I have nothing negative to say about her. I wish her all the best in her future endeavors. That’s all I have to say. Nothing bad, nothing particularly positive either.”
Despite the straightforward announcement, some speculate that this might be a publicity move ahead of her rumored debut album, possibly titled Where’s KARRAHBOOO?
