Beyoncé Lights Up Christmas Day with NFL Halftime Show in Houston

Christmas Day at the NFL game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans turned into the Beyoncé Bowl, as the music icon delivered a spellbinding halftime performance in her hometown of Houston, Texas. The show marked Beyoncé’s first live televised performance in four years and featured her live debut of songs from her latest album.

Donning an all-white fur coat and matching cowboy hat, Beyoncé made a grand entrance on a white horse to the tune of “16 Carriages.” Dismounting at the stadium, she transitioned into “Blackbiird,” where she was joined by Tanner Adell, Tiera Kennedy, Reyna Roberts, and Brittney Spencer, blending their voices in harmony. The set moved swiftly with Beyoncé performing “Ya Ya” and then joining a marching band in the bleachers for “My House.”

The performance continued to dazzle as Beyoncé walked down a runway, weaving a medley of “Riiverdance” and “Sweet Honey Buckiin.” The stage was then shared with Shaboozey for his verse, followed by a duet with Post Malone beside a pickup truck for “Levii’s Jeans.” Beyoncé then took a perch on the back of a car seat to perform “Jolene” before addressing the thrilled crowd with heartfelt words, “I’m so honored to be in Texas right now. It’s only right that we do ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ for the first time in Houston, Texas on Christmas. Y’all help me sing!”

The grand finale was a festive hoedown with her daughter Blue Ivy joining the dance, culminating as Beyoncé was lifted on a platform, waving farewell and wishing the crowd, “Merry Christmas, God bless y’all, thank you so much.” As the performance concluded, a banner unfurled beneath her platform proclaiming, “BANG.”
