Kid Cudi Releases 13th Studio Album ‘Free’ With 13 Tracks

Kid Cudi has unveiled his 13th studio album, Free, a 13-track project that arrives with a mix of new material and previously released singles including “Neverland,” “Grave,” and “Mr. Miracle.”

The rollout for Free began with “Neverland,” accompanied by a short film directed by Ti West and produced by Monkeypaw Productions, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. The campaign continued with “Grave,” supported by a video directed by Samuel Bayer, known for his work with Nirvana, Blind Melon, and The Rolling Stones. Earlier this week, Cudi premiered “Mr. Miracle” while speaking with Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s New Music Daily.

The release follows a milestone year for Kid Cudi. In 2024, his breakout single “Day ’N’ Nite (Nightmare)” was certified Diamond by the RIAA, making his debut Man on the Moon: The End of Day the first 2000s hip-hop album with multiple Diamond singles. He also issued his ninth album INSANO and its expanded edition NITRO MEGA, which both earned widespread acclaim and marked his seventh Top 20 debut on the Billboard 200.

With Free, Cudi continues to build on his legacy by uniting music, film, and storytelling, reaffirming his place as one of the most forward-thinking artists of his generation.
