After a four-year hiatus since his last full-length project, “Anniversary,” Bryson Tiller has made a triumphant return with his new self-titled album.
The album comprises 19 tracks, featuring previously released singles like “Outside,” “Whatever She Wants,” and “Calypso.” Additionally, it includes collaborations with Victoria Monet on “Persuasion” and Clara La San on “Random Access Memory [RAM].”
In an interview with Billboard, Tiller emphasized the intentional diversity of the album’s sound. He acknowledged that while not every song may resonate with every listener, there’s a deliberate effort to cater to a wide range of tastes. Tiller stated, “Everybody is not gon’ like every song. Everything is intentional… I got music for everybody on here.”
Excited to share his new music live, Tiller has announced a self-titled tour set to begin next month. The tour kicks off in Portland, Oregon, on May 11, with stops in Vancouver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, Boston, New York, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and several other cities. The tour concludes on June 28 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
