Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre have unveiled their latest collaboration, “Outta Da Blue,” a new track from their forthcoming album ‘Missionary’. The song, which runs just over two and a half minutes, showcases production by Dr. Dre in partnership with Dem Jointz, BoogzDaBeast, and FNZ, and features vocals from Alus.
“Outta Da Blue” is a follow-up to the pair’s recent release “Gorgeous,” featuring Jhené Aiko. Both tracks are expected to feature on ‘Missionary’, which is the long-awaited sequel to their seminal album ‘Doggystyle’. The new album, releasing 31 years after its predecessor, marks only the second full collaborative project between the iconic duo.
The upcoming album boasts a star-studded lineup, including Eminem, 50 Cent, Jelly Roll, Method Man, Sting, and the late Tom Petty. Dr. Dre shared his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “This one’s gonna show a different level of maturity with his lyrics and with my music. I feel like this is some of the best music I’ve done in my career […] I’m not playing.” He also noted the high level of excitement and anticipation for the album, both from within the studio and among fans.
“Missionary” is set to release on December 13, and fans can stream “Outta Da Blue” featuring Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, and Alus now on Spotify.
