Can you tell us more about the inspiration behind “Robbery” and how it reflects your personal journey?
Although I may have gotten robbed, everything happens for a reason, and I’m glad I did because I learned a lot and it made me better. I feel this needed to happen for me to fully be ready for the music industry. I have so much tunnel vision, and I see things clearly now, and I owe it all to God. Robbery is a new beginning and fresh start to my music career.
What was the most challenging part of creating “Robbery,” both emotionally and musically?
No challenges; everything was organic and from the soul.

How does “Robbery” differ from your previous work in terms of sound and themes?
“Robbery” differs because it gave me the opportunity to experience what it’s like to be blinded by love and know how to deal with situations like this in the future, which is good; I got to experience this before I blew up.
This track blends R&B and hip-hop—what were some of the key influences that helped shape this sound?
My R&B hip-hop style was influenced by R. Kelly, 2 Pac, and Ice Cube, to name a few. Shoutouts to my producer, Maksym; it’s like we are one when it comes to making music. I was going through a situation, and it’s like he knew it and created the “Robbery” beat, which instantly became a hit.
Artists like R. Kelly, Trey Songz, and Chris Brown have inspired your work. How do you incorporate elements of their styles into your own music?
R. Kelly, Ginuwine, Donell Jones, and Pretty Ricky, to name a few, inspired my work. I’m the New King of R&B, so every R&B artist’s roots lie in me. I’m a student and sponge to the game.
As someone who focuses on creating timeless music, what does “timeless” mean to you in terms of both sound and message?
Timeless to me means something that will live forever; even when I’m gone, the music and message will forever touch the hearts and souls of many.
What would you say is the biggest lesson you’ve learned since starting your career in music?
I wouldn’t know; all I can say is things happen for a reason, and now is my time to shine for now and forever.
With “Robbery” set to be released soon, what can fans expect from you in the future? Will there be an album or more singles on the horizon?
Fans can expect a music video to “Robbery” and more singles for sure; There is a story line of singles that will lead up to an album, and I have to follow the steps otherwise it wouldn’t work right, so all I can say is for my fans and future fans to be patient with me as I present to you this passionate, timeless music.
