DuPont Brass is one-of-a-kind and soulful brass band from the Washington, DC region. Originally composed of five Howard University music students attempting to generate tuition funds during the holiday season, they have since expanded to an eight-piece band. parts with brass, a rhythm section, and vocals DuPont Brass began professionally performing at weddings, banquets, and other private parties in the surrounding area after gaining fame by playing nearby subway stations. DuPont Brass has had the chance to perform in conjunction with the DC Jazz Festival and on the famous Kennedy Center Millennium Stage, building on the foundation set in its early years.
