The Supreme x Nike Air Bakin, which was confirmed in January but only recently released, is one of the streetwear label’s first few collaborations of the season, releasing in not one but two colors on Thursday, March 2nd. Supreme has a history of working with Nike’s lesser-known shoes, from the Zoom Streak to the Air Max 98 TL, essentially giving them new life. The Air Bakin, which was formerly worn by Tim Hardaway, is the next shoe to get this makeover, with fresh colorways and less contentious branding.
“NYC” is stitched across the heels of both versions, with the typography sporting the same flame-inspired style as the original. Other details include small Swooshes on the side, as well as “Nike Air” and “Supreme” over the tongue/pull tab and insoles, respectively. All of this is present on both pairs, albeit it has been repainted to match either the “Triple White” or gradient-accented hue. Here’s a closer, more thorough look at the Supreme x Nike Air Bakin. Supreme.com will be available on March 2nd in the United States and March 4th in Japan.
