On January 24, Tiffany & Co. shocked the world by releasing a Nike Air Force 1 Low partnership. What viewers didn’t realize at the time was that the legendary American institution was also working on a “Friends & Family” version of the duo – until now. Tiffany’s Air Force 1 “F&F” model uses high-quality leather rather than the nubuck featured on retail versions. Additionally, the top is coated in the premium label’s distinctive Pantone 1837, prompting some internet users to wish they could purchase the “Friends & Family” design instead.
The tongue, as well as the emblems on the sides and top heel, are all in stark contrast to the black. The made-for-basketball sole unit underneath, with its white midsole and Tiffany Blue® outsole, keep things on-brand. The special Air Force 1 also has an inverted color pattern on the shoe box.
For those who are familiar with the brands, silver ornamentation occurs on the spine and may be complemented by additional silver decorations. In any event, the “F&F” edition of Tiffany’s Nike endeavor makes a louder statement than its retail counterparts.
