Eminem has once again topped the Billboard 200 chart, securing the number one spot with his groundbreaking album ‘The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce).’ In its debut week, the album racked up an impressive 281,000 equivalent album units.
This total includes 164,500 units from streaming, 114,000 from direct album sales, and 2,500 from track equivalent album units. This launch not only marks Eminem’s 11th time leading the chart but also positions him alongside icons like Bruce Springsteen, Barbra Streisand, and Ye, each holding an equal record of chart-toppers. Furthermore, “Coup de Grâce” has achieved the highest sales week for any rap album in 2024 and stands as the second-largest digital album sales week of the year, coming in just behind an album by Taylor Swift.
This week’s Billboard 200 also welcomes new entries such as ENHYPEN‘s “Romance: Untold” at number two with 124,000 units, Clairo’s “Charm” securing the eighth spot with 47,000 units, and Megan Moroney’s “Am I Okay?” in ninth place with 43,000 units. Other notable mentions in the top ten include Zach Bryan, Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Noah Kahan filling up the third to tenth positions, respectively.
