Iconic artist and long-time Nike collaborator Piet Parra was tapped to create uniforms for Tokyo Olympic skateboarding teams and a Nike SB Dunk Low to match. Following what was literally months of teasing, a release date was confirmed for this month. Not unlike the plethora of other sought-after Nike SB Dunks that have dropped this year, these will be exclusive to skate shops. Stock is starting to trickle into your local, so you better start preparing.
Dubbed 'Abstract Art', the Parra aesthetic of bright blues, reds and pinks in geometric patterns can be seen covering the overlays of the shoe. The base has been placed in white and the Swoosh in black toning down the look. Rounding out the iteration is the co-branded heel, insole and gum outsole.
While these aren't the potential ultra-limited F&F pair that we got an on-foot look at, the Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low 'Abstract Art' will still be a hard one to acquire. To help you out, we've created a Where to Buy guide with some of the skate stores stocking the drop. July 31 has been locked in as the release date. Stay locked, we'll be keeping this list updated as the drop day gets closer.
Good luck!
