Virgil Abloh Dies of Cancer, Aged 41



RIP to a true legend, the fashion industry’s young pioneer.

Virgil Abloh, the designer for Luis Vuitton and founder of Off-White, died on Sunday after a private battle with cancer. The cultural supernova fought against an aggressive form of cancer for over two years. He was 41. His family announced the sad news on Instagram.

The famous peers, Virgil’s friends took to social media to mourn the fashion icon’s death. Drake, who worked closely with Virgil, thanked the creative genius for everything.

Virgil was a long-time friend of Kanye West, the creative director of “Donda.”

Gigi Hadid modeled for Abloh for a long time.
