Sneaker leakers revealed in January 2020 that an Air Jordan 4 “Pine Green” throwback will be released in August of that year. The speculated pair never materialized, but the canceled project resulted in the first AJ4 by Nike SB, which has just recently surfaced via official Nike imagery.
In September 2022, rumors of a Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 began to surface. First, rumors and spy images of the couple showed the iconic model dressed in a “Black Cat” costume. Professional skater Paul Rodriguez was also seen wearing the shoe, which was later revealed to be a sample.
According to later sources, one of the two final models of the updated Air Jordan shoe would be dressed in a “Neutral White,” “Pine Green,” and “Sail” color scheme. For the previous two months, both unofficial and approved sources have confirmed the project, which has garnered generally positive feedback from the sneaker community.
The throwback will be released on March 17th, according to numerous skate shops with Nike SB accounts. Nike SNKRS will be available on March 20, with a global release following on March 21. The shoe costs $225 USD, which is $15 more than a regular Air Jordan 4 in adult sizing.
