The Lebron sneakers have finally arrived at certain retailers today.
A long time ago NIKE designed the Lebron 9 “Watch the Throne” to celebrate Jay-Z and Kanye’s collaborative album “Watch the Throne” and world tour. The special-edition sneakers’ design is inspired by Riccardo Tisci, former Creative Director for Givenchy, who designed the artwork for a legendary album released in 2011.
11 years later, Nike Lebron 9, gifted exclusively to Kanye and Hov, came back as a retro and became available to the public first time ever. The sneakers were released through Nike SNKRS App on January 6 at 10 a.m for $230. Various fans took to Twitter to share their disappointment for missing out get a pair.
