“KEEP IT A BUCK” is the lead single from Trizz’s (aka Seven) upcoming collaborative effort with Kansas City producer MIKE SUMMERS. With its dismal, moody backdrop coupled with that robust west coast bounce, the tune sets the tone for the duo. Trizz, on the other hand, understood the assignment and brought his A-game to the microphone. Trizz’s distinct careless drawl and confidence also serve as a reminder that he doesn’t have time to waste on things that don’t bring him joy or money. When West Coast legendary rapper Brotha Lynch Hung teamed with MIKE SUMMERS, the two became connected.
Lines like “I’m fed up, I’m just trying to get my bread up/ If I ever fall down, ama stand up/ ama man up, bump my fist and put my hands up”demonstrate his tenacity in the face of hardship and validate his hustler attitude.
Trizz has released several projects with Chuuwee and worked with artists such as Tech N9ne, Rittz, Brotha Lynch Hung, CunninLynguists, Bizarre (D12), Rob $tone, G Perico, and more.
MIKE SUMMERS was a producer for the Strange Music label and produced tracks for Tech N9ne, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, and Mac Miller to mention a few.
