The Nike Air Max Plus, well known for its extensive color ramp palette, has relished branching out from its iconic structure as the model celebrates its 25th anniversary. Sean McDowell’s design recently returned to its beginnings with a vivid pink-to-black gradient. The main two-toned ensemble distributes jet-black colors over the entirety of its larger sole unit underfoot, airing on the side of the model’s extension of murky ensembles.
More midnight color matches run over the shimmering TPU caging, lacing, and sock liner for an all-consuming look, rendering pitch-dark tones throughout the glossy mudguard, smooth leather overlays, and muted midsole. The lower half’s black tonal spectrum juts upwards, mirroring the silhouette’s signature color shift along the mesh foundation layer, with eponymous pinks filling the tongue and vamp.
