The Nike Air Max Plus, a popular staple of the Air Max lineup, was unveiled in a plethora of new hues this past January. While most have deviated significantly from the original design, choosing Brazilian-inspired color schemes and multiple Swoosh lock-ups, this recently unveiled pair discreetly channels the appearance of earlier products by swapping out “Sunrise” tones for a gradient more similar to nightfall. 

This Air Max Plus covers its cage in black, much like the model’s original releases. The laces, tongue, lining, and a large portion of the midsole are all finished in a similar fashion to the mudguard and mirror-polished toe cap. The foundation delivers the previously described gradient, which begins with a bright, pale yellow tone and culminates with a considerably deeper fuchsia.
