In a year-long buildup, Travis Scott has tantalized sneaker enthusiasts with glimpses of his inaugural signature sneaker with Jordan Brand. While he has been a part of the Nike and Jordan family since 2017, this marks his first independent creation outside of collaborative efforts on existing models. The highly-anticipated shoe, known as the Jumpman Jack Trainer (not to be confused with the previously speculated “Cut The Check” moniker), is set to hit shelves in a “Taupe Haze” colorway during the Fall of 2024.
Breaking the veil of secrecy surrounding the shoe, a joint report and detailed mock-up from zsneakerheadz and Sneaker Files reveal that the “Taupe Haze” iteration will boast an autumn-inspired brown palette, complemented by white, gum, and navy accents. Reflecting Scott’s eclectic style, the design incorporates elements reminiscent of various athletic genres, featuring an Air Trainer 1-esque strap with unique forefoot branding, a signature backward Swoosh on the midfoot, and a Dunk-inspired collar flap. The result is a fusion of skateboarding, basketball, and cross-training aesthetics. Another Scott creation, the Sharkidon, drawing inspiration from the Zoom Spiridon model, is expected to make its debut alongside the Jumpman Jack Trainer in the coming year.
Concrete details about the release date are yet to surface. However, enthusiasts can anticipate the Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman Jack Trainer to be available in a full family size run, with adult pairs priced at $200 USD. Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
