Michael Jordan Jersey From “Last Dance” Sold For $10.1 Million

Michael Jordan has retired from NBA for nearly 20 years. In a recent Sotheby’s auction, his The Last Dance 1998 NBA Finals jersey that he wore has just sold for a record $10.1 million USD. Take a look at the jersey below.

The red Chicago Bulls jersey tops the most expensive game-worn sports collectible ever sold at auction. This also marks any Michael Jordan object ever-sold. Except for the jersey, the most expensive piece of Jordan’s “artifact” sold only for $2.7 million. That was an autographed card from the 1997-98 NBA season. Kobe Bryant‘s game-worn jersey from 1996-97 sold for $3.7 million.

The jersey was worn by Jordan on June 3, 1998, during the championship game against the Utah Jazz. Fans named the season “The Last Dance.”
