As their mysterious hip-hop/neo-soul duo B, Pink Siifu and producer Ahwlee are back with new songs. With “COO,” a song co-produced by Kiefer, and “usedtoo,” a song with Jay Feeniks, B. Cool-Aid has released a new double single named “bonded.” The new songs feature Siifu’s voice flowing over Ahwlee’s smooth instrumentals that incorporate jazz, soul, and hip-hop influences and serve as the soundtrack to an equally captivating music video for each song that was shot and directed by Jacob Nadir Gray.
The duo’s latest release follows a rare live performance at Lex Records’ LEX-XX 20th anniversary celebration in Brooklyn. The first official releases are “COO” and “usedtoo.” After releasing Syrup in 2019, B. Cool-Aid hasn’t released a full-length album in more than three years. The pair has also continued hosting their long-running monthly show, BRWN, on NTS Radio.
